2010 in Review

Here's a quick look at our 2010 in review.  This is pretty photo intensive, but since I just started blogging, most of the pictures are new! :)

January

Our house was still on the market, so we were trying to keep things picked up, but still have a little fun!

Sweet girl & her daddy

Sporting sunglasses

Being precious

February

We celebrated Thompson's 2nd birthday.  Emma made it to the top of the big slide all by herself!

Playing at Grandma's

March

Varsity with her Papa

We celebrated Emma's 2nd birthday, at school...

At the Georgia Aquarium with Mommy & Daddy

And with a big party at Nanny & Papa's

Where she played with Maddy

And ate Nemo birthday cake

Papa had a big birthday that day too - the Big 5-0!

April

We dyed Easter eggs

The Easter bunny came to see Emma

Dressed all up

May

We played on the playground while people looked at our house... And after being on the market over a year, we finally sold it!

We celebrated Mother's Day

And we picked out our new house!

We lived with Nanny & Papa three weeks until we could close on the new house

And we spent the weekends at Grandma & Grandpa's

Emma carried babies as big as her

And helped Grandma water plants

We visited the Science Museum, seeing old cars

And we dug for dinosaur bones!

June

We moved into our new house & Emma enjoyed dress-up in her new room!

We love our new house!

July

Played with lots of toys

Emma spent a few days with the grandparents while we went away for our 5th wedding anniversary.  We spent time in St. Augustine touring a battle ship

And dressed up for a nice dinner out.

On the way to Asheville, we visited the World's Largest Frying Pan

And the largest Chest of Drawers

In Asheville, we went to the Biltmore. Then we were ready to go home & see our girl!

Emma picked out her flower girl dress for Uncle Cory & Courtney's wedding next March.

August

Emma moved out of the crib & into her temporary big girl bed (ie, mattress on the floor).

We did a lot of yard work and gardening

And stopped to enjoy some ice cream!

I went on a girl trip to Pittsburg

And Niagara Falls

September

We found out we were expecting Baby #2!

We made a trip to Orlando to see the Mouse!  We went to a character breakfast.

Ate Mickey ice cream

And visited with sweet friends!

We rode lots of fun rides

And posed with our friends from Monsters, Inc

And Finding Nemo.

On the way home, we saw the World's Largest Peanut!

October

We played lots of dress up

Danced around outside

Emma was Minnie Mouse for Halloween

She found Snow White at the Fall Festival at church

And helped her daddy carve The Great Pumpkin!

Daddy was a little proud of how it turned out!

November

Emma thought she needed to swim...but it was a little too cold outside. She settled for a Pop Tart.

Emma helped put up the Christmas tree

Nene broke her hip the day before Thanksgiving & had surgery.  We spent some time at the hospital & went to visit her at Rehab.

December

We had a pizza making party

Built a Ginger Bread House

Played with the Little People Nativity & got ready to celebrate Baby Jesus' Birthday!

Our family of 3 (soon-to-be 4!)

Visited Valerie & "Baby" Jack at Atlantic Station for dinner

Jack is such a sweetheart.  Unfortunately, it took both of us 2 hours to get home because of ice, but we were thankful to make it home safely!

Emma had fun with her cousin

Although Nene is still in Rehab, she was able to join us for Christmas parties!

Emma's first tree in her room

She played with her Papa

We had dinner with the Fab 4 and their boys. Emma was our entertainment, of course!

Santa came & brought Emma a kitchen (and lots more!)

She really liked her new Tutu & now wears it every day.

Sweet hugs with her cousin Maddy.

And the first White Christmas in Atlanta since 1882.

We spent some time at Grandma & Grandpa's

And got to see Grandma & Grandpa Dreibelbis!

Emma had a bedtime story with her Grandma.

And finally, on New Year's Eve, Emma got her official Big Girl Bed!

She loves it (& I hope she sleeps well in it tonight!)

We have had a very blessed 2010 and have so much to be thankful for!  Looking forward to wonderful things happening in 2011 - Uncle Cory's wedding in March & Baby #2 arriving in May.  We can't wait!

Happy New Year to our Family & Friends!
