We had a very blessed Easter!

The kids woke up to out of control Easter baskets....yes, David is making me scale back next year....

Henry was more interested in hers, of course.

Dressed up & ready to go to church!

Emma picked out matching Easter dresses at AG for her birthday from Mommy & Daddy...they were seriously cute.

The best family pic we got, LOL.

Two little monkeys.

We enjoyed Easter lunch at my aunt & uncles & then because of the nasty weather we did an egg hunt inside!

Then we headed to David's parents to enjoy his family & had an egg hunt in their basement.

We had a very fun day :)

Coloring Eggs

We colored eggs before Easter....David gets Good Friday off & it's always so nice to have time to slow down a little & get to do it as a family.

They were ready....

Just look at him...he just wants to dive in....

Pretty eggs :)

Emma's 5th Birthday - Family Party

For Emma's actual party we (I) went really low minimal decorations, let her be as tacky as she wanted, etc.  It killed me but she loved it of course, HA.

She picked out Hello Kitty as her theme...I let her pick the cake mix & icing she wanted...we had purple (& then I made yellow cake & chocolate).

Nene & Izzy

Big 5 year old girl!

My crazy family....sure do love them :)

And I finally let her have a PiƱata...she was all kinds of excited.  Thankfully she picked the one with strings to pull, lol.

A very happy (very tired) birthday girl.

The next day Emma & Izzy matched...same shirt, both in jeans, & even matching hair! Sweet girl.

Emma's 5th Birthday - American Girl!

We celebrated Emma's 5th Birthday (March 12) at American Girl at Northpoint Mall!  I made reservations almost 2 months in advance so all the girls could go & eat at the Bistro!

Emma loved checking out the store & doing some shopping!

L-R - Shana (Aunt Courtney's BFF), Courtney (SIL), Emma & Izzy (the doll), Grandma (my MIL), Nanny (my Mom), Atchie (Mom's BFF), Glenda (Mom's CA BFF)

We had so much fun at lunch - the bistro was super cute & the food was good!

Needless to say, somebody was pretty spoiled rotten....

More pics to come of Emma's family party!

Disney - Feb 2013

We decided to head down to Orlando in February during Emma's Winter Break for a little Disney fun! Our friends Elizabeth & Michael let us stay with them & we appreciated it so much!!!!

Mr. Michael has a lot of fun musical instruments & let the kids try out the drums (& a keyboard). They loved it!

Since we only had two days we hit Magic Kingdom & Hollywood Studios this trip.  Elizabeth & Michael joined us for part of the day at Magic Kingdom.

So quick note, it was seriously FREEZING the weekend we were we could have worn our coats!  Unfortunately it was colder than they predicted but we made due in our hoodies/fleeces & lots of layers.  The second day wasn't as cold as the first & we could go without jackets part of the day.  Crazy!

We got to meet Mary Poppins - she's never out!!!

My kids LOVED Elizabeth & Michael!

We really enjoyed checking out the new Fantasyland - we went to Story-time with Belle and rode the Little Mermaid ride.

Emma got to be Mrs. Pots :)

We met Minnie & Daisy

Rode the teacups, of course :)

The next day we went to Hollywood Studios! We saw a stunt car show which David loved :)

We ate Pizza Planet for lunch....the kids & I took tons of crazy pictures waiting for Daddy to get our lunch, LOL.

And we got to meet Phineas & Ferb, which were a total hit!

We also rode the Toy Story ride, which is awesome :)

We got lots of fun time with Elizabeth & Michael...I apparently didn't take enough pictures :(

Before we headed home the next morning we decided to go to a quick character meal at the Beach Club Resorts.

We met Goofy...

Minnie Mouse...

And Donald Duck!

The breakfast was good & it definitely wasn't nearly as crowded as Chef Mickey's....but we'd probably still pick Chef Mickey's next time LOL.

We had a great vacation....we can't wait to go back!
