Henry turned 5 Months old on September 30th.  Such a sweet, happy little guy!

I had to include this one because you can kind of see his little tooth on bottom!

Grandparents' Breakfast

The kids' school hosted a Grandparents' Breakfast one morning - Grandma & Grandpa were able to come down & go with Emma, so David & I decided to go too.

Emma loved showing her grandparents off to her friends.

Breakfast was good too!  We were thankful Emma was ok with all of us leaving, so we determined we could visit her at school again.  We stopped by & loved on Henry a few minutes before heading back to work!

Happy Fall Y'all!

Every year we go to Burt's Pumpkin Patch to pick our our pumpkin.  This year, the weather was nice, so we took the hay ride!

Pumpkin patch

Aunt Courtney & Uncle Cory came too

On the hayride, you get to see talking pumpkins - Autumn & Gordy

Atchie & Robbie came too

Our little family

This one will probably be my mom's Christmas card picture

This was sadly the best picture I got of my kids together.... I took many.

Uncle Cory was so sweet with Emma, she wanted to help him.

Little man took a few sweet pictures with the pumpkins.  He got his first pumpkin & his first tooth the same day!

Emma with all our haul.  Between us, my parents, Cory & Courtney, & Atchie & Robbie, we had 3 wheelbarrows full!

First Foods

Henry's doctor recommended skipping rice cereal & going straight to Fruits & Veggies.  Henry's first food was sweet potatoes - he liked them!

Since then he's had peas (yuck!), carrots, squash, bananas, apples, pears....& he's even started eating puffs! Those are his favorite!

Just Hangin' Around

Emma is in the stage where she says "Take my picture" - so as often as I can, I do!  Why not, if she's willing to pose?  Sometimes we get pretty random pictures....

Hanging upside down on the couch...

Eating a snack...

Little brother likes to hang out too.  I thought it was funny how he moved his bib around.  He just left it & was just content.  He's such a good baby.

Papa & Henry playing ball with Emma.

Poor Papa..

Meeting Aunt Nancy

Henry & I go in to wake up Emma most mornings.  She loves being woken up by her baby brother & sometimes she thinks he needs to go under the covers with her.  They are so so sweet.

Beach!

In early September, we went to Destin with my parents.  We had the best time!

Our family (please ignore the fact that we're in swimsuits!)

We had a great time getting away & having a little vacation before started getting too busy!  It was nice to have my parents' help & of course the kids loved having them there!

WELL

So I guess it's been awhile.... I promise I've been meaning to check in, but yeah... I just realized I haven't posted since September.

My excuse is that work is kicking my butt.  I'm trying to get caught up there & everything else seems to have spiraled out of control.  At any rate, I will try to do better.  Stay tuned & I'll try to work through some pictures :)

Henry is 4 Months Old! (August 30)

Henry turned 4 months old.

Don't you love his feet?  He is crazy...

Big Gummy Smile!!

I swear, he is so sweet, I could eat him with a spoon.  He is such an easy-going little guy, very content as long as he can see us & we pay attention to him.  He loves his Mommy, Daddy, Big Sister, bath time, his teachers at school, & napping in his car seat or on Mom!

Fort!

When I was a kid, Cory & I used to build a fort with our dining room chairs & blankets, & hang out in it all day, reading books, playing, goofing off.  One weekend we were home, I thought....why not build a little fort for Emma?  So, I did.

She seemed to like it.

Next time I guess we'll need more chairs & more blankets, but she seemed to like it.  We'll have to do it again sometime!
