We're Going to Disney World!!!! Driving Day

We went to Disney World this year during Emma's Fall Break!  My parents joined us & we had the best time!

I made treat bags for the kids with a few Disney-themed items inside. They were a hit. The kids got to open them after we had our breakfast stop.

Quick picture of my cuties with their countdown sign - with all the links gone!

We decided to get a Condo this trip. It was so nice! We had a private screened in pool...

The condo had 4 bedrooms, but Emma's was my favorite. I loved the colors.

We had dinner at Houlihan's our first night

And then came back & Emma, David, & Papa went for a quick swim.  The pool was sadly pretty cold.

We meant to spend lots of time in the pool, but we had too much fun at Disney World & didn't get a chance to spend as much time as the condo as we expected.

Bert's Pumpkin Farm

Every year we take a family trip up to North Georgia to visit Bert's Pumpkin Farm. They have lots of beautiful pumpkins & they have the biggest selection of the great big pumpkins I've seen. We love taking a trip up to pick out our pumpkins, see the fall leaves, & then stop to get apples in Ellijay.

So I like to get a nice picture of my kids in front of the pumpkins....and this is pretty much what they thought of that. Maybe we'll do better next year....

Little stinker...

This sums up Henry on this trip. He was everywhere. We were thankful Grandma & Aunt Susan joined us, they helped chase him around. And yes, I mean chase.

I caught him & did get a quick picture with my little man :)

Emma & her Papa

My mom & dad, Nene, & Em

Our family minus my brother Cory & sister in law Courtney who weren't able to make it.

Mom & Atchie, her best friend since middle school. Atchie is pretty much my aunt.

Emma & her sweet daddy :)

We had a great time, but to Emma's dismay we decided to skip the hayride this year.  I reminded her that she was going to a pumpkin patch with her class in a few weeks & maybe they'd go on one then.  She bought it (& thankfully they did go!)

Mommy's Boy

I sure love getting to spend one on one time every day with Henry while Emma is at Pre-K.  We do miss her (promise!) but it's nice & quiet here, & we have a nice routine.

This little man keeps me on my toes.  He's constantly into something...

He is such a mess.

When it was warmer, we tried to spend time outside.... Swinging!

I love this picture!!

One morning, we found this toad in our yard. He just sat there....we lapped him a few times on our trips around the house.

Silly goose!

I sure love this little boy.  He just needs to remember, he's ALWAYS Mommy's baby boy!

The Great Pumpkin

This year David had good luck growing a pumpkin in our garden!  The vine started to die, so he decided it was time to "pick" it!

Emma got to help saw the pumpkin stem.

This girl has no personality, it's sad really.

Checking it out...it's kind of pointy on the bottom, so can't stand upright.

My pumpkins :)

This picture is kind of blurry, but Henry looks so small with this big pumpkin!

We were really pleased. David always likes to buy a big pumpkin at Bert's Pumpkin Farm each fall, but this year he was able to grow his own!

Our playground!

We decided over the summer that we really wanted a playground for our backyard. We have a nice big yard, with plenty of room to play....we just haven't spent as much time in it as we'd like, since we didn't have much to play with!

Our dad's were so sweet to come down & help one HOT Saturday.  The boys made great progress!

Once Daddy got the slide & swings up, we had to try it out (missing climbing wall & baby swing in the picture below).

The love it!

The baby loves his swing!

Peek a boo, I see you!

We've been having lots of fun playing outside & I hope will get many good years out of our playground!

Jack's 3rd Birthday Party

It was brought to my attention that I haven't blogged in awhile.  Yeah, I know, I'm a bad blogger. Basically during naps I run around picking up, cleaning up, doing laundry, so when I finally have a chance to catch my breath I don't feel like being productive. Such is life as a stay at home momma.

Back in August we celebrated our good friend Jack's birthday at Catch Air.  Jack's mommy is my BFF Valerie.

It was our first time at Catch Air & we all had a great time! I was thankful David was there too, he was definitely needed as we were going 2 separate ways!

They have a cool light floor that we had a dance party on with Buzz.

Henry thinks he's a big kid.

Happy 3rd Birthday Sweet Jack!!
