Catch up!

I've been back to work now for almost 3 weeks! Needless to say, we've been a little busy around here trying to keep the house under control, keep the laundry clean, & keep everyone fed & happy!

The kiddos are in school now.  Emma seems to be happy about being back in her class. I think she missed seeing all her friends. Of course she's already been sick. Henry is doing great in his class too & he has sweet teachers. They tell me what a good, easy-going baby he is.  I'm very thankful.

Emma has now been in dance class 2 weeks. She goes on Tuesday nights & her teacher is Ms Jill. There are 5 little girls in the class & they are having such a good time. Three is a little young - I know their recital will be hysterical in May.

Friday morning Emma is having her tubes taken out of her ears. Its supposed to take 10 minutes, but unfortunately must be done out-patient rather than in the office.  I'll be staying home with her on Friday.

We're doing good, just getting adjusted to our new normal. I'm exhausted most nights & just want to cuddle with my babies (the biggest one too!) He's been a huge help, cooking dinner, doing dishes, & prepping bottles, along with his normal stuff. Tonight he's trimming out the dining room! Will post again soon - with pictures!

Fun Day in Roswell & Marietta!

For our final trip to the East Roswell Splashpark of the summer, Atchie joined us! Emma had a great time playing in the water with her Atchie!

We all went to lunch at Chick-Fil-A & then Atchie, Emma, Henry, & I headed over to Nanny & Papa's to go to their pool.  We swam & Henry napped. Emma was a little afraid of the water, so she mostly hung out on the steps this visit. 

Atchie fixed dinner of Spaghetti, Bread, & Salad, & we enjoyed eating with Mom, Dad, & Nene. Nene got to snuggle Henry awhile :) 

We all got baths & then headed home to see our daddy. We had a great day!

Sister & Brother

Emma loves Henry, & Henry loves her! I love that they are starting to interact more.  Henry just watches her & smiles at her - they were sooo sweet! 

Meeting Mommy's Friends!

My sweet friend Jenifer was in town for a few days & we were able to see her! Jeni came down with Jamie, so was on a few days vacation from work.  Sadly this was the day our air conditioner was out, so it was rather warm in my house, but they came anyway :)

He gave Jamie some good smiles, he took a little nap in between Jeni & Jamie, so was a little happier. 

Once our AC was back on (YAY!) we cooled off the rest of the day. Henry is now starting to like his play yard & Emma loves to play with him. 

July 4th Do-Over!

On July 4th this year, we were driving home from our beach vacation, so it didn't go quite like I expected. Emma had an accident & had to change clothes on the way home, so I never got a picture of the kiddos together in their July 4th outfits. Emma put her dress on last week, so I went ahead and dressed Henry in his patriotic attire too :) 

I also bought a July 4th cupcake mix back before we decided to go out of town which we never made, so I figured this was the perfect day.  While Henry napped, Emma & I made cupcakes!

When David got home, I told him about our do-over, & he had recorded a few minutes of the fireworks we saw on the real July 4th & showed them to Emma, so we celebrated our redo complete with fireworks LOL.  David brought our extra cupcakes to work the next day, telling everyone Happy 4th of July. We are totally crazy. But the fun kind.

Playdate with Jack!

We've been so thankful to get to spend precious time this summer with my friend Valerie & her son Jack.  I am beyond jealous that she gets summers off EVERY year (not just when on maternity leave - ha!) Last week, Valerie & Jack headed down to our house for some play time.

We have had the best time with them, between playdates at our houses & at the splashparks. I am so sad my "summer" is drawing to a close & I will go back to work on Monday :(
