Playing with Flour

I've probably been spending too much time on Pinterest.  Evidence below - we spent time one afternoon playing in flour.  

It was a little messy....

But so much fun! 

Afterwards, we had baths & vacuumed the kitchen :) 

I sure love my babies! 

7th Anniversary

David & I celebrated our 7th Wedding Anniversary with a trip to Savannah.  Warning - lots of pictures ahead!

We drove down on a Friday morning & enjoyed lunch in Savannah at Smokin' BBQ which was yummy.  Then we drove around Savannah & took a stop at Forsyth Park.

Then we went to a new museum at SCAD.

We really thought this outdoor area was really neat.

We checked into our hotel & went to Vinnie Van Go Go's for pizza (yum!) before going to see a the new Spiderman movie.  

The next morning we went to Tybee Island & enjoyed the beach. 

On the way back to Savannah, we stopped for lunch at the Flying Fish.  My sweet friend Jamie's Uncle owns this restaurant & we had to check it out.  It was delicious! 

After a swim in the hotel pool, we got cleaned up & headed out to River St to do a little shopping. 

When we were ready to head back, we climbed up some crazy steep stairs - this picture doesn't do them justice.

That night, we got dressed up & enjoyed dinner at Chart House on River Street. Then we went to a Chocolate Bar, which was awesome! 

We headed home the next morning.  We were sad to go, but sure missed our kiddos, who spent time at both grandparents while we were away.  We had a great trip & enjoyed spending time together.

Watercolors & Teddy Bear Picnic!

We have been busy soaking up summer!  I LOVE being home with my sweet babies! 

We've done a little watercoloring...

And we celebrated national Teddy Bear Picnic Day with our own Teddy Bear Picnic! We ate our lunch on a blanket on the living room floor (hello, hot outside!) with our Teddy Bears.

We also ate chocolate Teddy Grahams in celebration :) 

Zoo Trip with Valerie & Jack

A few weeks back, we went with Valerie & Jack to Zoo Atlanta!  They have an annual pass, which we  were able to benefit from - thank you Valerie!!!!

Sorry for so many pictures, we had a fun day!  We went first thing in the morning, so missed a lot of the heat & crowd.  But make no mistake - it was hot & humid, as you'll see in these pictures! 

Emma & Jack are such sweet friends.  We hope they'll get married some day :)

Emma & the Pandas

After we saw all the animals, we ate our picnic lunch & then headed over to the kid area.  The hot, tired kids rode the train & carousel.  This picture really says it all.

Then we went & played on the playground! Henry loved this school bus that was just his size!

The big kids played on the big stuff & had a great time.

When we went to see the elephants earlier, they were resting & we couldn't see them, so we went back by before we left for home.  The elephant was cooling off with a bath - it was the highlight of our trip! 

Pool Time with Papa & Atchie!

We spent a Saturday at the Pool with Papa & Atchie (Nanny had to go to choir practice at church & was sad to miss).

The kids had a great time playing in the pool.

Little man had a great time playing in the float - it was Emma's.  He didn't let the lady bug float get him down, lol.

Emma showed off her new skills from swim lessons & swam for Papa & Atchie.  She also jumped off the side of the pool a lot too.  I'm proud she's getting a little more brave in the pool!
