Yesterday was the annual Gann Family Christmas Lunch. When I was a kid, it always was on Christmas Eve, but was moved to the Saturday before Christmas, which I think makes things a little easier. This year, it was at my Great Aunt Gerry's who lives in Conyers. Since it was kind of close, my Nene, parents, Aunt & Uncle, Cousin Kristin & her babies Maddy & Dylan, & Cousin David came by to see our house before the party.
Emma & Maddy had a great time playing in Emma's room. Within 5 minutes, all her toys were dumped out - they had the best time!
Nene took a break from Rehab today (because of her hip) and got to come down too for the party.
Mom & cousin David. Poor David is a Fireman/EMT and had to work the night before, getting maybe 2 hours of sleep.
The girls came out all dolled up!
At Aunt Gerry's, Dylan practiced walking with Nene's walker.
Papa played on the floor with the girls.
Cousin Julie & her two beautiful girls!
Everyone visiting. On the couch, Dylan, David, Cory, & Courtney (brother & soon-to-be sister in law).
Yes, I took a picture of food. These were Mouse Cookies & were adorable!! Half an Oreo, chocolate covered cherry for the body & tail, Hersey's kiss for the face/nose, almonds for the ears & little eyes from icing. Adorable.
Emma loved Santa & Mrs Claus singing to each other. She seriously watched them for 30-45 minutes, pushing the button each time they stopped.
We had a great time - it's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! Thank you Aunt Gerry for hosting us!
