Riding Bikes

We had to try out our new bikes after Christmas!  Thankfully it was pretty warm & we were able to spend a little time outside.

Emma did pretty well, but still has a lot of practice to do.  She does like it, it's just kind of hard.

Henry loved riding/playing in his wagon.  I see many walks in our future with it :)

Christmas Day 2011

My sweet girl woke up EARLY Christmas morning..... she was SO excited about Santa coming!  Worked out ok though, we needed to get a move on so we could make it to Marietta in time for lunch!

Emma girl got a bike, lots of Barbies, clothes, art stuff, books, etc from Santa.  She was pretty thrilled!

Henry got a red wagon, little people, blocks, cars, books, clothes, etc from Santa. He was a little overwhelmed :)

We had a yummy breakfast made by daddy! Henry had fun hanging out in his high chair & eating some biscuit!

My pretty girl (pretend like you don't see what a wreck my house was in the background - we were packing up for Marietta!)

We went to visit my family & have Christmas with them at my parents.  Here's my brother Cory & my sister-in-law Courtney.

Emma & her Mermaid thing.  And pearls, of course.

Then we went to my Aunt & Uncle's to have Christmas with my mom's family.  Below is my cousin's daughter, sweet Maddy.

Emma & Maddy had the best time playing.

We had the best, most blessed Christmas!

Gann Family Christmas Party!  My mom's sweet cousin had cookie decorating for the kids - it was a hit!

Christmas Ballet Recital

Emma loves her dance class!  For her first performance, they did Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer!

Here's our girl on the way to her recital.

Lined up with her friends waiting for it to start.

My happy boy!

Doing her dance - being the youngest, her class was first! Emma is on the front row, far right.

Me & my big girl! She did great!!

November 2011

And that brings us to November!  We went to the Lighting of the Courthouse in Covington.  Henry was at Grandma & Grandpa's - he was sick with lung stuff & pink eye :(  We went ahead and took Em as planned & froze our tails off!  Here's Emma & Daddy in front of the Christmas tree.

You can see Henry's pitiful pink eyes in this one, but I had to include it - Emma put his socks on his hands & said they were sock puppets!  Too funny.

My happy little guy

On Thanksgiving, my parents hosted.  My family tried to get a Christmas card picture for my mom's card. Here's my Mom & Dad, David, Me, Emma, & Henry, & my brother Cory & sister-in-law Courtney. This was the best one - lol.

Poor little chunky boy.

Then we officially got our house ready for Christmas!  We decorated a Ginger Bread house!

And we took a picture of the kids for our Christmas Card!

Halloween 2011

So, what can I say, working full time kind of kicks my butt.  I'm going to try to do better - we're in our "slower" season at work, so I'm less exhausted when I get home! I'm going to try to hit the high points & then blog more often to keep up!

So....Halloween!  Emma wanted to be Snow White this year, so Henry was "Happy" her dwarf.  I figured, there won't be too many years to do a theme, might as well do it while we can!

I went to Emma's Halloween Parade at school.  She had such a fun time with her class.

A special visitor crossed the hall to visit her & her friends.  She loved that :)

Aunt Susan's school had a trick or treat at their dorms, so we visited!  Aunt Susan's hall was all princesses, Emma loved that!

Aunt Susan was Anastasia!

On Halloween night, Emma & Daddy went Trick or Treating in our neighborhood, which was lots of fun & Emma's first time! She loved getting all that candy!
